We are researching and developing the seeds of drugs to overcome diabetes and its complications such as cardiovascular and kidney diseases in the view of pharmacology. As aiming at developing of the new medical products to regulate oxidative stress, we focus on nutrient composition derived from foods, and iron, an essential trace element, and have a goal to develop a new therapeutic strategy and drug discovery. Moreover, we’re working on collecting the findings to establish the foundation of new diagnostic method for assessing diseases to evaluate iron and oxidative stress by using fluorescence probe and immune-spin trapping.
